All orders for goods (“Goods”) and services (“Services”) supplied by Co-operative Energy Saving (“Company”) or any of its subsidiary companies are subject to these conditions of sale. The placing of an order by a buyer (“Buyer”) constitutes acceptance of these conditions. Individual contracts for the sale of installed products will be issued in the case of solar photovoltaics and boilers and other installed technologies stating clearly the agreement between the Company and customers.

Contract for the Supply of Products and Services

The display of Goods on the Co-operative Energy Saving website amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell products or services at any price indicated. No contract for the supply of Goods will be deemed to exist between you and Co-operative Energy Saving unless, and until, an email is sent by the Company confirming that your order has been accepted and payment has been successfully completed, in the case free offers using voucher or coupon codes then no such payment will be required prior to the email being sent confirming your order. In the case of services supplied for example Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) and Green Deal Assessments (GDA’s) customers will be advised of the process at the time of booking and any details required prior to services being rendered, payment will be required from the customer for chargeable EPC’s and GDA’s in advance of the home visit. Full details of installation contracts will be provided to the customer on an individual basis prior to the customer entering into an agreement to install with the Company. Installation contracts will comply with current legislation and Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) in the case of renewable energy installations.

Co-operative Energy Saving is not obliged to accept your order. The Company may withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any errors or inaccuracies in respect of the Goods, any description applied to the Goods, the availability of the Goods, or the order itself. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.

Descriptions, specifications, and illustrations

All descriptions, specifications, illustrations, and dimensions listed are approximate only and intended to present a general idea of the Goods to which they refer and will not form part of the contract. All particulars about each product are provided by the product’s manufacturer.

Co-operative Energy Saving’s policy is one of continuous improvement, and it reserves the right to make reasonable changes to product specifications at its discretion. When placing an order with the Company, the Buyer must satisfy himself/herself/itself that the Company’s then current specification of all the Goods is appropriate for its (or the Buyer’s) requirements.
